Well, our next project was to take any painting we wanted and to reproduce it exactly but put our face into it. I had initially thought to use ďMan with Womanís HeadĒ by Odd Nerdrum but when I went to the library I randomly took out a Rockwell book as well. I was flipping through it at lunch and saw this one (which you can find here: [link]
itís not the best pics I could find to show you as no one seems to have a coloured version. Itís by sheer luck that I took the only book that had one), and Lallie and Pam ordered me to do it. I totally agreed, for not only is it cute, itís ironic too. I mean, I am probably the least Pro-Bush administration person you can meet right now. It also appealed because I was taking a WWII history class at the time, so yah.
Well, this took a lot more effort than I thought it would, but I enjoyed doing it quite thoroughly. One of the girls in the class said I would hate myself because of all the detail, but it never crossed my mind. It doesnít look quite the same as the original, but I didnít really start to realize it until I was halfway done and couldnít change anything anymore. Oh well. Donít know what I am going to do with the bloody thing now. Gah. What do you think??

Note: I realized after I took it that my drop cloth is blocking the signature, so Iíll take a better pic of it later.
