Finally, after about 8 months, my, as I like to call it, triple depression, has finally started to ebb away. Yay for new medications and therapy! Anyhoo, this was a drawing that I was supposed to get done before Christmas, but obviously that didn't happen. This month I made a push and I am now almost completely caught up on commissions (save for some glazing I need to get done). It feels great, and I already have some new projects lined up, which is awesome; I'm really looking forward to this new page in my life.
This is Gharadin Ledonnais, a D&D character I had the pleasure of drawing. He was very fun to conceptualize, draw, and finally colour. I am really happy with the end result. He seems a bit more alive than my works of late, which also reassures me that I am on the right path.
I have lots of new projects that I am working on, as well as the backlog of sketches I haven't had the energy or will to work on for the past 2 years. I'm excited to get them all done and out, and feel accomplished. Wish me luck!
